Oh woe is us, the credit crunch is here - like the beast from the swamp, everyone runs from its dreaded path. There's just one small problem, things aren't nearly as bad as they are made out to be.

There is talk of recession; food and fuel prices going up, house prices coming down... all the more reason to summon that famous British resolve and party like never before! 

If our parents and grandparents could dance under a rain of bombs, we can dance under a few niggles in what seems to be a far more stable economy than the media would have us believe.
