Experience a traditional festive celebration in 2012; Christmas as it used to be.  Ivy and holly trails the interior like the scene from a Christmas greetings card.  Guests are welcomed by a string quartet at reception before sitting down to dinner tables adorned by holly, candlelight and celebration boxes with all you need to get the party started. 

A fabulous festive feast with all the trimmings is followed by a disco, where the DJ will play all the classic floor fillers and festive hits. Or if you prefer a jazz / swing band can provide music for the duration of the evening.

The neo-Gothic Whitworth Hall is a real Manchester treasure. 

There are few venues as elegant and enchanting. The Whitworth hall lends itself beautifully to the more sophisticated function.  The vast church organ is an imposing and impressive feature at end one of the room with stained glass windows adoring the other.  Fine architecture spans floor to ceiling, which adds to the grand sophisticated atmosphere of Whitworth Hall.

The reception is held in the equally impressive library next door before the call to dinner.
