Description

Discover the magical Lapland experience where Christmas spirit meets Nordic snowscapes to create an alpine-inspired festive Christmas party theme. 

Rub shoulders with Father Christmas and his friendly elves who have plenty of gifts and jokes to share.  The life-size polar bear and penguins make eye-catching centrepieces to the party space and an ideal photo opportunity. 

Take your seats for a three course meal, accompanied by half a bottle of wine and followed by coffee and petit fours to finish. 

Strike a pose for the party photographer who will capture beautiful shots of all your guests, ready to be viewed online soon after the party. 

After dinner, step onto the dance floor and party the night away under a canopy of stars and a dusting of falling snowflakes.

Venue Description

The Grand by Thistle Bristol is an elegant hotel in the centre of historic Bristol and is well placed just off Broad Street. This Victorian hotel has 182 bedrooms including executive rooms, suites and studios offering elegant, stylish and spacious accommodation.

The Grand by Thistle boasts a number of sublime event spaces, benefiting from a recent refurbishment and offers a mixture of styles.

The Wessex Suite hosts up to 420 guests and has it's own private bar.  The large room is a balanced space offering areas to separate dance floors and entertainments from the dining area, or make use of the fitted dance floor in the centre of the room.
