Description

Host an elegant and decadent evening with the Black and White Diamond Ball and indulge in all the glitz and glamour of a Hollywood gala.

Arrive dressed to kill in black or white (diamonds optional) and make your way into the reception area where you will be greeted with a glass of Champagne and invited to indulge in the divine white or dark chocolate fountains.

The dining area will continue the theme of black, white and diamonds and your three course meal will be served as the wine flows. After dinner try a shot (or two…) of vodka from the ice vodka luge before the DJ takes the party to a new level and keeps you dancing till the end of the evening.

Venue Description

The Grand by Thistle Bristol is an elegant hotel in the centre of historic Bristol and is well placed just off Broad Street. This Victorian hotel has 182 bedrooms including executive rooms, suites and studios offering elegant, stylish and spacious accommodation.

The Grand by Thistle boasts a number of sublime event spaces, benefiting from a recent refurbishment and offers a mixture of styles.

Next door to the Wessex is the fabulous Ballroom, an opulent high-ceilinged room with floor-to-ceiling columns topped by gold scrolls.  The large party space has a separate bar area, built in stage and dance floor and is suitable for hosting up to 200 guests. Large chandeliers bring sparkle to this grand Victorian period venue.
