What is a shared party?

Shared parties are large and often spectacular parties to which you can buy tickets. For companies of any size, joining a shared Christmas party can be a great option.  If you are a smaller company, this allows you to book seats at a full scale Christmas party, allowing you to benefit from the fun atmosphere and entertainment of a big event - and even meet new people.  Shared Christmas parties are often themed - think Rio Carnival, Winter Wonderland, Moulin Rouge (to name but a few) - which adds a different angle to the evening.  They will also include the catering, usually a sit down 3 or 4 course meal, entertainment, a DJ to provide the essential music, and full event management. 

What are minimum/maximum booking numbers for shared parties?

This depends on the event.  Some shared parties have no minimum, but many state a minimum of 10 people, as this is often the number of seats per table. Maximum numbers will depend on the size of the venue.  We have stated the capacity on each of the shared parties shown on this website. 

Will we have to share tables with other parties?

Usually not.  We will always try to seat you together but if, for example, you were a party of 35 and the seating arrangements called for tables of 10, it is likely that 5 of you will share a table with another party of people.  Some venues are flexible and often if, for example, there were 38 of you, it is likely that a table of 8 will be fine.  This cannot be guaranteed however.

What is an exclusive party?

An exclusive party is an event booked exclusively for your company.  It can either be an organised party package or we can create a bespoke party for you. For companies looking to hold a private Christmas party, there are many venues and party packages available. Each of the parties shown in all our locations will state whether they are available for shared or exclusive parties.

How many people do we need for an exclusive party? 

If you are looking for an organised party package the minimum number of guests will depend on the venue.  Where possible we have stated the minimum.  If you are looking for a bespoke Christmas party, there is no minimum as they can range from an intimate evening in a restaurant to a large event in a huge venue or marquee.

Do I need to know exact numbers when I book? 

It helps if you have a good idea as you will be charged a deposit per head at the time of booking, but final guest numbers need to be confirmed with the final balance payment, due on or around the 1st October.  You will be informed at the time of booking if this is any different, as some party venues require numbers earlier.

Do I need to pay a deposit? 

At the time of booking you will need to pay a deposit which is non-refundable.  This will usually be charged at approximately £20 per head, but this may be different depending on the party.  You will be advised at the time of booking. 

How far in advance is full payment required?

You will be asked to pay a deposit at the time of booking and full payment is required on the 1st October. 

Once I have booked my company Christmas party, do I receive information to circulate to the guests?

Once you have made the decision and booked your party, you will then be contacted by one of our Christmas party organisers who will take care of everything from guest names to transport and special requirements.  You will also be provided with your personal corporate Christmas party website, which will include all the party details, itinerary, and the facility for your staff to access the site and add their names to the guest list.

What should I wear? 

On each of the shared parties shown on our website, we have included a dress code.  In most cases, smart dress is required. Christmas is a great excuse to dress to impress!

What is a themed party?

Themed parties are always popular and add extra sparkle to the evening. Many of the shared parties available are themed but for bespoke parties we are happy to work with you to create something special for your event. Any themes are possible and suggestions are always welcomed. We can even utilise your logo within the theme if required.

Themes are installed in the venue utilising coloured drapes, banners, 3D props, screens and themed items. Lighting and colours all help to enhance the look and feel of the theme.
