HMS Belfast was launched on St Patrick's day in March 1938 and played a major part in the sinking of the German battle cruiser The "Scharnhorst"; the Battle of the North Cape, and in the Normandy Landings. Since 1971, when she was decommissioned, HMS Belfast has become a popular tourist attraction and unique party venue.

HMS Belfast is permanently moored on the River Thames right in the heart of London. Conveniently situated between Tower and London Bridge, there are a number of easy travel alternatives. London Bridge Tube Station and British Rail mainline station provide regular services leaving a simple five minute walk to the ship.
