Step back in time for a night of rip-roaring revelry at our Twenties Christmas Party as you enter the spectacular and exclusive walled Garden Marquee at the renowned Thornton Manor Country Estate.

Enter the shadowy world of an underground bootleg bar filled with clean-shaven men with attitude and frolicking flapper girls – grab your pocket watch, press your flapper dress, brush off that flat cap and fluff up those feathers and prepare for an explosive party atmosphere where grit and glamour take centre stage as the Peaky Blinders take over the Manor.

With exhilarating entertainment, delicious food, stunning costumes and professional performers this party is guaranteed to thrill! Decadent theming and a breath-taking live show will entertain and dazzle as the spirit of the era is revived – as the show ends join the cast on the dancefloor and dance into the early hours, pit your wits against the dealers in our backroom charity casino or take a spin on the dodgems…. the night is yours for the taking!

All prices are per person. Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking. If you are a business you will initially pay the consumer price (including VAT) and then reclaim the VAT, therefore your company will have only paid the business price in the end.

Please bear in mind that most Fridays & Saturdays will sell out months before Christmas.

We will accommodate any dietary requirements that we are notified of in advance. Vegetarian main course must be pre-ordered on your final balance date. Menus are subject to change.

About Thornton Manor

With a truly unique setting, outstanding service and that special touch, Thornton Manor Estate has built an impeccable reputation as one of the most delightful venues in Cheshire. Built in the middle of the 19th century, standing proudly in the village of Thornton Hough, our historic estate is set amongst an oasis of rural calm and beautifully presented countryside. Originally built for Charles William Potts and occupied by the late Lord Leverhulme, Thornton Manor exudes historic enchantment and charm.

FAQ

Tables sit between 10-20 guests, if your group size exceeds the maximum we will split your group as evenly as possible and set the tables close together.

The initial deposit is due upon booking with the final balance due 8 weeks prior to your event.

We have a selection of drinks packages available for pre-ordering. You can add these to your event up to 4 weeks before your event. Add them to your trip or ask your event coordinator for more info.

You can also pre-order wine for your table, the list will be available from August onwards.

Minimum age of 18 years to attend our parties.

Props to suit the theme are encouraged.

Dad dancing will be encouraged.

This venue has an unmanned cloakroom for guests.

We can cater for almost all dietary requirement including Halal meals - if they are pre-ordered at least 6 weeks before your party.

We are unable to provide Kosher meals, however, you are welcome to arrange for us to receive a Kosher Meal on the day of your party and we will cook this in our ovens and serve (still in the tray) to your guests at their tables. There is no additional charge for this service; however, neither does the guest receive any discount for not having one of our own meals.

Should any of your guests require wheelchair access please call us on 01273 856001 so we can do our best to ensure their requirements are looked after during the event.

Directions

Exit the M53 at junction 4.

At the roundabout exit onto the A5137 (signposted Heswall). Continue for 1.5 Miles and turn left on to Talbot Avenue. Bear left onto Manor Road. Main entrance to Thornton Manor on right hand side.
