As you and your guests arrive, you will be in awe of the panoramic views of Canary Wharf and The City beyond. A night of explosive entertainment awaits, as angle grinders, poi twirlers and fire-eaters welcome you in from the cold. Enter into this urban landscape with towering ceilings, naked hanging bulbs and a central statement performance bar of architectural aluminium and glass. With the crack of a whip, a festive feast awaits, and the fierce burlesque ringmaster welcomes you to the circus stage, where dinner and a magnetic, enthralling show will simply take your breath away. Then, to finish off your night in style we have the most talented DJs playing a mix of hits guaranteed to delight the crowd.

For Christmas 2021, come and party in London’s hottest new venue, Magazine London, an urban event space with stunning views across Canary Wharf.

We have designed a concept that enhances the venue’s unique design and style. Enter into our urban landscape, with towering ceilings, naked hanging bulbs, and perspex and truss bars throughout. In the centre of the reception space will be a statement truss bar of architectural aluminium and glass, acting as a striking focal point for your event and an elevated stage for entertainment acts. The main event space will provide an adaptable and versatile environment in which to host your event, ideal for parties, conferences, award ceremonies, dinners and brand events. Included in your venue hire is state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and a dance-floor, as well as a centralised screen and impactful stage which can be utilised for live entertainment. Also available to you are the venue’s mezzanines, to be utilised as VIP areas, overflow for high guests numbers, or breakout spaces, as well as The Balcony, an impeccable viewing platform

    Exclusive Upgrades


    We welcome live bands, but there are some restrictions being in a residential area.

    - All bands must perform under our bespoke designed sound curtain installation. A stage must be laid over our existing dance floor at an additional cost.
    - All bands must use an in ear monitoring system.
    - Where a band requires a drum kit, they must use an electronic drum kit, which the band must provide.
    - Bands may be subject to timing and decibel restrictions.
    - All bands are subject to approval.
    Dinner Entertainment
    4 routines of 5-6 min punctuating each course culminating to the finale performance to get everybody on the dance floor!
    Pre-dinner entertainment
    4 routines of 3-4 mins per routine throughout the reception.
    Costs vary depending on the specific band and their technical rider. For an average 6 piece band, to install a stage and provide the additional sound equipment including in ear monitoring and technicians, costs start at £2300. Please note that all sound control is always at the discretion of the venue manager.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Does the venue have disabled access?

    This venue is accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Should any of your guests have such please do call us so we can do our best to ensure their requirements are looked after during the event.
    Please note that some of our venues have a raised dance floor, which are only accessible steps.

    What is the dress code?

    We have a dress code of Smart Dress and as such do not allow guests to wear jeans or trainers to our events.

    Can I confirm my group size later?

    Subject to availability, you can add extra guests to your booking up to 4 weeks prior to your event. Please note, availability changes constantly and tickets are on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to reduce the number of people in your party, any monies already paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

    What is the minimum number of guests that I can book for?

    The minimum booking is for 10 guests. We seat each booking at their own private tables, and do not mix booking across shared tables.

    How and when do I pay for my party?

    The initial deposit is due to confirm your booking.
    The rest of the balance for your booking is due no later than 8 weeks before the date of the party.
    The booking can be paid over the phone on 0203 9676967 with a debit or credit card or you can make an enquiry and pay through your online account. If you would like to pay by bank transfer please request an invoice.

    What size are the tables?

    We have a variety of different sized tables and we will allocate your group the best suited tables for your final group size. These will of course be placed next to each other in the dining area.

    Dietary requirements

    We have designed delicious menus alongside our main menu for those guests who are vegetarian, vegan or have an allergy to dairy, gluten or nuts.
    We can also cater for Halal meals - if they are pre-ordered.
    Please note that these alternative menus are set and must be ordered in advance of the party, you will the receive the full chosen menu. We unfortunately cannot mix and match courses from each menu.
    Please note that we are not unable to provide Kosher meals, however, you are welcome to arrange for us to receive a Kosher Meal on the day of your party and we will cook this in our ovens and serve (still in the tray) to your guests at their tables. There is no additional charge for this service; however neither does the guest receive any discount for not having one of our own meals.

    What is your Covid-19 Policy?

    This supplier will follow guidance given by the Government in terms of all Covid-19 restrictions.
    If government restrictions prevent our Christmas Parties from proceeding you will be able to transfer your booking to a future date or alternatively receive a full refund.

    Is there an age limit?

    In line with our licence, we are afraid our parties can only be attended by guests who are over 18 years old.

    How do I pre-order drinks?

    We have several drinks packages available, please ask for more information.
    In addition to drinks packages, you can also pre-order wine and water by the bottle.
    You can add drinks to your party up to 4 weeks prior to your party date.

    Bar Tabs

    Please note that we cannot run bar tabs at any of our events, however should you wish to provide some drinks for your group you can pre-order drinks packages or wine by the bottle.

    Do the bars take cash and cards?

    Our bars accept card payments, pre-paid wristbands, and pre-paid tokens as form of payments. They do not accept cash.
    There is an additional bar for your use if you have wristbands or tokens and the time spent at the bar is greatly reduced due to using this pre-paid payment methods.
    Unfortunately we cannot accept Amex payments

    Is there a table plan?

    When you enter the venue you will see several table plans displayed around the bar area, which detail which tables have been allocated to your group.
    We do not set out seating plans or names within groups, however should you wish to compile your own you are welcome to pop name places etc on your tables when the doors open on the night of your party.

    Do you carry out any checks upon arrival?

    On arrival, we carry out ticket and ID checks and random bag searches are carried out by our security team. Please have your ticket ready.

    Can I dress up to match the theme?

    You can of course get into the spirit of the party, as long as your outfit fits within our smart dress code.
