At Bright Lights Big City (shared night only), Old Billingsgate’s original features are enhanced with iconic 20th Century furnishings, for parties with an industrial edge. Bright Lights Big City allows you to put your own stamp on the party. Get caught up in the madness of Christmas celebrations, lose yourself in the sounds of the City and dance the night away at this spectacular venue.

All prices are per person. Dates are subject to availability at time of booking.
If you are a private individual you will pay the prices listed under the "Consumer Price" (including VAT) column.
If you are a business (VAT registered), you will initially pay the consumer price higher price but will then the company may be able to re-claim the VAT, therefore it is the price listed under the "Business Price" (excluding VAT) column that your company will end up having paid. (*please ask the accounts department to clarify your VAT position).

Originally constructed in 1975 as The Billingsgate Fish Market, this elegant nineteenth century Grade II listed building has since been sensitively refurbished by Lord Rogers. This prestigious venue offers event space on an epic scale. A versatile 7,800m² is contained within the breath-taking nineteenth century venue. The grand event space plays host to a variety of shows and conferences throughout the year and is transformed during the festive season. Every year our events crew transform Old Billingsgate into a unique Christmas event space with a new theme and entertainment. This year, we welcome you to Bright Lights, Big City.

FAQ
Tables sit between 8-12 guests, if your group exceed the maximum we will split your group as evenly as possible and set the tables close together.
The initial deposit is due upon booking with the final balance due 8 weeks prior to your event.
Please note that this Christmas party has contracted numbers. If your original group size is smaller than when you first booked your party, you will be expected to pay the total cost for the original number of guests you booked for.
Tickets are non refundable. Money from cancelled tickets cannot be transferred and used for drinks or any other extras.
We have a selection of drinks packages available for pre-ordering. You can add these to your event up to 1 week before your event. Add them to your trip or ask your event coordinator for more info.
You can also pre-order wine to your table, the list will be available from August onwards.
Minimum age of 18 years to attend our parties.
We have a strict dress code, no guests are permitted to wear jeans or trainers. Not even smart ones.
Props to suit the theme are encouraged.
Dad dancing is encouraged.
This venues has a complimentary cloakroom for guests.
We can cater for almost all dietary requirement including Halal meals - if they are pre-ordered at least 2 weeks before your party.
We are unable to provide Kosher meals, however, you are welcome to arrange for us to receive a Kosher Meal on the day of your party and we will cook this in our ovens and serve (still in the tray) to your guests at their tables. There is no additional charge for this service; however, neither does the guest receive any discount for not having one of our own meals.
This venue is accessible to wheelchair users, or with limited mobility. Should any of your guests require this please do call us on 01273 856001 so we can do our best to ensure their requirements are looked after during the event.
