with a taste for the spectacular – from the magnificent tripleheight lobby and Highline rooftop garden to the imposing glass atrium. The Stratford is a 145-room design hotel with interiors by Space Copenhagen, the design duo behind New York’s 11 Howard and the legendary NOMA. Serene pastel tones, natural timbers and elegant stone bathrooms fuse Scandinavian style with old-world opulence.

The 7th floor belongs to our destination restaurant, Allegra, by former Chiltern Firehouse head chef, Patrick Powell. Allegra is a restaurant offering east London a high-end dining
experience underpinned by authentic old-school hospitality. The main room evokes the timeless grandeur of a Scandinavian farmhouse – featuring an open kitchen, sweeping stone bar
and rich, stained oak furniture, illuminated by Allegra’s floor to ceiling windows and framed by a natural stone Montpelier floor. Retractive glass walls open out onto the terrace and large
garden overlooking the London skyline.

Allegra’s terrace is set amongst an elevated meadow of wildflowers, water features and cedar pathways and sheltered under a spectacular, cedar-cantilevered roof. Perfect for a drinks reception, let your imagination run wild in this rooftop garden with breathtaking views over the city skyline.

Our secret gem in the heart of The Stratford; The Mezzanine is a world-class, glamorous, hidden cocktail bar tucked away on the mezzanine level. Offering a modern approach to classic cocktails, our resident mixologists have brought their experience from some of the World’s 50 Best Bars and Mayfair’s 5 star hotels to east London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Designed by Space Copenhagen, the Scandinavian duo behind NOMA and 11 Howard, the bar centres around a large fireplace and balcony that overlooks the hotel’s stunning, triple-height lobby below, and offers opulent seating in this sprawling and vibrant space.

After Dinner, Let’s Party
Perfect for parties, DJs, entertainment and world-class cocktails, The Mezzanine is where you want to stay late and party into the night. We offer everything from canapés to late night snacks for all your guests.
You are welcome to bring your own DJ or entertainment to The Mezzanine, or we have a roster of DJs you can choose from. You can keep the party going until 2am, or later on request.
Available to hire as a singular space, or as an additional reception space after a dinner elsewhere in the building.
Located on The Mezzanine level, each Space is flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. All our Spaces are elegant and intimate, and can be enhanced with personal
touches, decorations, floristry and anything else to make it special and unique for you. Just ask and we will deliver.
Our Event Spaces are perfect for intimate celebrations, whether that be seated dinners or receptions. The Champagne and Festive Package can be used with these event spaces.
