On arrival, your guests will be met by the ultimate Christmas backdrop. Entering through the striking stone arches, they will be greeted by Somerset House’s spectacular ice rink and soaring Christmas tree. Skate at Somerset House with Fortnum & Mason is the picture perfect setting for your Christmas event - and our team of dedicated Event Planners will be on hand to ensure your guests enjoy a celebration like no other.
EAST WING
Accessed directly from the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court, with beautiful high ceilings, grand windows and interlinking rooms, the East Wing is the venue choice for your Christmas party. Primarily home to Somerset House cultural exhibitions
throughout the year, guests will experience one of our more exclusive spaces. Our Christmas package creates the perfect setting for your party, right in the heart of London.
PORTICO ROOM
With beautiful high ceilings, original sash windows together with the best view over the ice rink, the Portico Rooms offer a contemporary and elegant space for your Christmas lunch. With balconies at either side of the room, guests can enjoy alfresco drinks overlooking both the ice rink and the iconic River Thames and surrounding London landmarks. There is also the option for your guests to take to the ice rink for the ultimate festive experience!
