Christmas at the May Fair

Parties at The May Fair tend to be talked about, and no time more so than at Christmas. Make yours one of them.

Choose the sweeping dimensions of the Crystal Room or the unabashed glamour of the Danzinger Suite, with a bespoke or set menu, and expect the extraordinary.

Seating 170 for dinner, named after the one-time family owners of the May Fair Hotel - Hollywood impresarios, the Danziger brothers. This is a space that whisks guests back to an era of elegant, imaginative style and yet is grounded in its practical use, with easily installed flexible stage for speaker events.

Stunning from ground level to a clear vaulted roof, the dramatic Atrium brings instant space and light to the heart of The May Fair. Its location, adjacent to the Danziger Suite and private meeting rooms, and own dedicated bar make it the ideal place to start proceedings.

A Baccarat chandelier lends instant spectacle to this sought-after space; a bronze lacquered feature wall studded with delicate leaves provides the perfect stylistic compliment making this an inspiring space for cocktails, weddings, dancing and dinner for up to 180 or meetings for up to 280.

Shimmering light and sleek bronze; a distinct and memorable setting

The highly evocative bronze wall makes the Crystal Room a novel setting for your event, with exclusivity enhanced by a private entrance off Berkeley Street. The room also features a specially commissioned Baccarat chandelier; this 6- metre statement piece gives the Crystal Room its unique identity and makes your event utterly memorable.

Each of our private business meeting rooms is individually designed in a signature colour to make the most of the natural daylight and contemporary design. The rooms are located together in a private self-contained area on the mezzanine floor making it easy to hold separate meetings in close proximity.

One of the capital's largest private screening rooms, the May Fair Theatre is also London's most impressive presentation space, with high-definition projection systems, THX quality spectacular sound, stage and stunning décor throughout.

With antique walnut parquet flooring, dark wooden panelling and an opulent green marble fireplace, it's a dramatic yet comfortably luxurious space.

The Private Dining Room is an exclusive private dining venue, tucked away in a discreet area of the hotel. Perfect for corporate dinners and smaller private functions, we offer quality food and a stylish environment for up to 72 guests dining and 100 guests for drinks receptions

About The May Fair Hotel

In 1927, The May Fair announced itself to the world with a suitably royal fanfare, as King George V and Queen Mary gave their seal of approval. A gesture that merely hinted at the glamour to ensue.

From the moment the grand doors swung open, The May Fair was London society’s playground. With Bert Ambrose and the hottest band in town, the young and affluent whirled around the grand ballroom alongside royalty, night after night. With a delectable restaurant and the finest rooms, it was the place for high society to meet.

In 2004, a new era for The May Fair began. Having been bought by the prestigious Edwardian Hotels London, every single room in the hotel was transformed. New wings and floors were added, amid a stylish, modern effusion of glass and leather, marble and gold leaf. Just 30 months and £75 million later, The May Fair could once again announce itself to the world: ‘a hotel like no other’
