Gold and black accents complement the interior, with warm lighting, festive foliage and sparkling golden candelabras completing the Christmas theme. Originally built as a monastic priory, the event space of Austin Friars is a popular tourist attraction dating back to 1253. The current Portland stone building offers a grand event space for entertaining in the City.

Grade II listed building Austin Friars boasts a prime position in the heart of the City, just a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Bank stations.  Benefiting from both stunning original features and clean, contemporary design, the venue creates a unique setting for winter celebrations.

Ornate stained glass windows take pride of place in the classically designed main space, which benefits from high ceilings for an elegant look.  An understated colour scheme ensures that branding opportunities abound, whilst sound and lighting equipment will also enable you to make this space your own.

About Austin Friars

Originally built as a monastic priory, the event space of Austin Friars is a popular tourist attraction dating back to 1253. The current Portland stone building offers a grand event space for entertaining in the City. The grade II listed building plays host to a variety of shows and conferences throughout the year and is transformed during the festive season. Every year our events crew transform Austin Friars into a unique Christmas event space with a new theme and entertainment. This year, we welcome you to a Traditional Christmas.
